My Dr. Has Me On Losartan And Has Me Monitoring

My Dr. has me on losartan and has me monitoring my blood pressure. Yesterday and today my pressure has been on the rise with the latest reading being 140/103 but the monitor also said I have an irregular heart rate. Is this something I need to seek immediate help with or can it wait till tomorrow when I can call my regular Dr.
