My Dr Has Put Me On Clonidine Twice A Day.

My Dr has put me on Clonidine twice a day. He did this in place of 15 mg of amlopline. My pressure is high at times. Yesterday I took clonidine when my pressure was at 156/92 which wasn't too high at 12:30PM but if I was going to take another that afternoon I should go ahead and take it. I didn't take one in afternoon but I did take 10 mg of amlopline at 4PM (the normal time I always took this) I really felt bad that evening. What is your opinion on taking both of these.
