My Father In Law Is 103. He's Dying. He's Still

My Father in law is 103. He's dying. He's still all there mentally. His oxygen levels, when taken with the finger monitor are now at 88. I was trying to find what happens. How low can that go? what happens along the way. Does everything just shut down at a certain point? I wish for him to just close his eyes...
