My Father Is 82 Years. He Has Gone Through Brain

My Father is 82 years. He has gone through brain surgery has He fall on the floor. He is in the Hospital for last 1 & 1/2 month now. He is recovering slowly but secretion is a big problem and due to this suctioning is done many times during the day and night. Is there any medicine to this.
