My GP Has Given Me A Sample Pack Of Lyrica

My GP has given me a sample pack of Lyrica to use for pain relief for sciatica & bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome. The pain relief I was using was parasol osteo usually 2 at night but it's no longer effective and I asked him for an alternative. I'm having surgery for the carpal tunnels in just 2 weeks and I'm not sure I feel ok about taking this new medication without having a discussion with the anaesthetist & orthopaedic surgeon
