My Husband Had A Bad Fall About A Month Ago.

My Husband had a bad fall about a month ago. He hurt his back. He had massive bruising that has disappeared. He also hasaid a large lump just to the side of his spine. It has gone down some since the accident but is still there. It hurts to the touch. He has full range of movement, moves very well. Says it feels muscular soar. What could it possibly be?
