My Kid Is 1 Year And 7 Months Old. He

My Kid is 1 year and 7 months old. He has tendency to keep awake till late night and sleep almost at 1:30-2 pm. Usually cry after 1 or 2 hours after sleeping and these episodes are ongoing since last few weeks. He sleeps very quietly between 6am- 12pm. He never sleeps by his own but we have to make him sleep with lot of efforts. Is there any way to make his sleep normal using sedatives? Moreover he would not like to play with other children but more like to play alone. Please advice if this is normal hahavior or do I need to consult any pediatrician or child psychiatrist?
