My Mom (84) Had A Stroke Went To Rehab Then

My Mom (84) had a stroke went to rehab then had another stroke, she is taking norvasc, 5mg, atenolol 25mg, tekturna, 150mg pravachol, 25mg at nite and minixidil 25mg. dr just stopped Minoxidil because of my mother not looking so good and blood pressure was too low. If the Dr. had the right combination I feel she would not have had a second stroke, oh she had a stroke 3 years back. ? so many strong meds how can they be regulated so she dont have so many side effects because it is stopping her progress?
