My PCP Referred Me To A Hematologist This Friday Due

My PCP referred me to a hematologist this Friday due to elevated Platelet count of 603, WBC of 14.6., RDW-SD 53.1, RDW-CV 14.3 I am a 60 year old male, smoker, good health, walk 4 miles 3-4 times weekly. 5'10' 215lbs. Symptoms are cold hands, small red dots over thighs, stomach, chest. Surprisingly these disappear after hot shower or lose color if depressed. They are flat to the skin and do not bleed or itch. I thought it was cherry angioplmas and was willing to live with it. Overall, I thought I was in good health.

Anyways, almost all my other blood work is normal. Should I be concerned? What questions should I ask. Is leukemia a real possibility? Thanks.
