My Son Is Suffering From High Fever 102 From Yesterday

My Son is suffering from high fever 102 from yesterday afternoon. He had cold and cough prior to it which was improving. Fever came suddenly yesterday afternoon. Doctor has put him on Pecef-100 ,twice daily . I had given one dose last evening. He is getting fever now every 5 hours with chills and is vomiting also.
I did a urine routine last evening since he has a tendency of urine infection and the report was normal with only RBCs showing 1-2.
Can this be thypoid? Is Pecef ok for either UTI or Typhoid?
