My Step-Dad just received results from an angiogram. Unfortunately, the results aren't good. His heart is only functioning at 15% and his heart is larger than originally thought. His valves are working fine and there are no blockages. The medicine that they have been giving him drops his blood pressure. This all started from a virus that attacked his heart.

Is there any chance for survival? Can his heart still heal itself? Or health with some other forms of medication?
