My TSH Is 7.24. But My Dr Gave Me Thyronorm

My TSH is 7.24. But my Dr gave me thyronorm 50mcg. I understand from tablet manufacturer's website it should be given for under value condition. As I am having hyper thyroid, am I having the correct medicine? I am 74 years old with severe osteoporosis. Please clarify.
