My VA Doctor Took Me Off Plavix Even Though I

My VA Doctor took me off Plavix even though I have had 2 MIs and have 4 stents. Now I am in pain again and she will not put me back on Plavix. What can I do to return to good health like when I was taking Plavix? Are there over counter drugs I can use?
