My Wife Has Been Experiencing A Progressive 5-7 Level Pain

My Wife has been experiencing a progressive 5-7 level pain during the last two weeks. She is experiencing deep (interior) pains in her lower abdomen, just above her pelvic bone, low but not down to her genitals. Sometimes it radiates out to the top of her legs, but always deep inside. She doesn't experience an increase in pain if she pushes/probes the areas. While resting it feels like mild menstrual cramps, but when she gets up its far more intense discomfort. Once she moves around for a while, the pain seems to lighten up a bit, but the pain remains moderate while on her feet, walking around, tries to work.
She: has not had an hysterectomy, no bleeding or discharge, she has had 4 children (all adults)
We do not have medical insurance and all appt's. are out of pocket, hence; we're hoping to narrow down possibilities. Yes, she's called regular GP and spoken with a nurse, we are expecting a call back at some point.
