My adult son hads been hospitalized for liver damage, He is now taking 10mg of oxycodone several times a day for relief from the pain from lyme disease and rheumatoid arthritis supposedly prescribed by a physician.

what is the maximum he should take daily toavoid further liver damage or should he be taking it at all? He is 52 years and has been drinking sinc e his teens
