My Adult Son Has Complained About Waking In The Night

My adult son has complained about waking in the night from a spinning sensation that is very unsettling. Once he is awake in disappears in a couple minutes. He is in excellent shape and maintains a healthy diet.

As a younger boy he hit his head hard and had a severe concussion. He was under a doctors supervision for about a year watching his recovery. I think he needs to consult a doctor. Is there a certain type he should seek out?
