My Allergist Has Had Me On A Daily Dose Of

My allergist has had me on a daily dose of Zyrtec and Singular for years. I also take Benadryl at night to sleep. After reading that long term use of antihistamines can limit their effectiveness and Benadryl can be addictive I am wondering if I should cease with their use and how I go about that process.
