My Ankles And Feet Are Swelling Pretty Badly Just While

My ankles and feet are swelling pretty badly just while I sit at my desk at work. I was in the sun a lot for the last few days and got a bit of a sunburn on the tops of my feet but I do not think this is the cause. Can you tell me what might be causing them to swell even while I am inactive? They even hurt a bit.
