My Approx 6 Year Old Chinchilla Persian Has Had Blood

My approx 6 year old chinchilla Persian has had blood in his stools for the past three days. This a m I found he had been sick and had pooed all over the bathroom floor despite having a clean litter tray available.
Normally a very clean indoor cat. Is up to date with vaccinations. Could this be the start of pkd?
