My Aunt, 65 Yr Old, In India Was Treated By

My aunt, 65 yr old, in India was treated by a doctor of internal medicine for UTI, and bronchitis and did a very good job. While on medication, he went ahead prescribed Nexito Forte (0-1-1) and Oleanz 7.5mg (0-0-1) to be continued. She has been taking these for the last 12 months. Since then she seems STONED and very very depressed. She has completed quit any physical activity and seems very un-social.

Now, it is clear that it is a clear case of medical malpractice.

Two questions:
1. Is an internal medicine doctor authorized to prescribe these medicines?
2. How is the best way to get her OFF these drugs, which were not required in the first place?
