My Aunt (89 Yrs. Old) Has A 7.5 Cm Mass

My aunt (89 yrs. old) has a 7.5 cm mass on her lung.......bronchoscopy was indeterminate so next a lung biopsy is scheduled. Cough and loss of 30 lbs. in last 8 months. Today I see her lower leg is swollen, which it wasn't 3 days ago, and she said it felt like her foot was falling asleep. Can this all be a Stage IV and should I worry about her swelling? She also has vein trouble in legs.
