Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My baby is 1.1 year old and has started getting frequent colds and cough. It is a cold that she usually starts which then progresses to a cough. This time the cough has been troubling her for almost a month now. The paediatrician has advised deplomont after having a course of oral medicines like ambrodil s, pulmoclear and an antibiotic named macpod. We also had her on both asthalin and budecort nebs before the course of deplomont was suggested. I am hesitant to start with deplomont considering she is very small. Is this truly required ? Can I continue treating her condition by nebulization ? Kindly advise.
