My Back Molar Has Broken Off But A Jagged Piece

My back molar has broken off but a jagged piece is left. Not sure if my nerve is exposed but its causing excruciating pain on my right side of my mouth from the upper gumsall the way to the bottom gums and my right temple is in so much pain that i can hardly keep my right eye open. What can i do to stop this pain?
