My Banjo String Snapped A Few Months Ago, And Even

My banjo string snapped a few months ago, and even after letting it heal and giving a few days between intercourse/masturbation it has not stop opening wounds and continued bleeding. Is this an STI issue or a problem with the scaring? Should I see a doctor?
