My Best Friend Has Pancreatic Cancer And Has Just Started

My best friend has pancreatic cancer and has just started hospice. They came to her home yesterday & somehow inserted some tube in to her tissue but did in her belly button area. She was in a lot of pain & discomfort so her husband removed it at 2:00 a.m. & she took .15 mg of morphine which is what they brought to her from hospice. She just called me & asked if she could still take her .5 Xanax because she cannot sleep. I told her I didn't know if it was okay to mix those two drugs. So that would be my question to you Dr. Rynne. Thank you, Julie
