My Bottom Two Left Front Ribs Are Very Itchy And

My bottom two left front ribs are very itchy and scratching does nothing so I have been pushing in a rubbing motion to reach the spot. That only relieves it for a few seconds at a time. Those ribs are very tender now so I feel itchy burning now. There's not any skin rashes or anything but the skin all around the area now has a numb feeling when I touch or rub the area. It's worse today but started at least yesterday. It's weird.
