My Boyfriend Has Been On Saboxine For About 6 Months

My boyfriend has been on Saboxine for about 6 months and it's very costly. Everytime I mention the option to get off of the meds orf for him to ask for a shorter term solution he get's very upset and says I should do some research. He is depressed and doesn't get alot of sleep. He was originally on Norco's and Saboxine was perscribed to him. Is this a lifetime solution to use Saboxine or is there any other solutions?
