My Boyfriend Has Been Seeing A Psychiatrist For Awhile Now

My boyfriend has been seeing a psychiatrist for awhile now and was directed to call another dr for Adhd medicine but now has to wait until Christmas time to see the lady because she is taking time off, so he's left to sit and wait for her and continue to have his issues with every day life. Is there some one else that he could go to for a prescription?
