My Boyfriend Just Donated Plasma Today And This New Employee

My boyfriend just donated plasma today and this new employee accidentally missed his vain and stuck his arm instead. He asked to switch arms and continued to donate. The arm that vain was missed in now has a clump of blood under the surface and he’s been rotating ice every 15 minutes to heat every 15 minutes and nothing is happening. What can we do to help his arm return to normal?
