My Boyfriend Suffer From A Heart Attack Last Year, He

My boyfriend suffer from a heart attack last year, he continued going to the hospital but the only thing they did it was check blood pressure when he switch to another group of doctors they did the stress test they found him really bad they told him that could've been prevented if they took care of him, but like 3 wks ago he got in another stem in his heart he almost die, my major question is that they are concern because his heart from 42% went down to 37% so he is going crazy cause he wants to leave longer and that is killing me... How can I help what can it be done, the last alternative is to go in if in 6mponts the pills have not done anything and put a pace maker I believe that's what is call to shock his heart when it stops.
