My Boyfriend Took Siding Off Our House Yesterday..noticed A Red

My boyfriend took siding off our house yesterday..noticed a red large dime size bite sit boil type thing under. His arm we put hot wash cloths on last pm today there is a hard cotton ball size of something under there it's down his arm to elbow..very painful couldn't use his arm today....well got worse went to med place a np looked said she shoot it with numbing stuff got a Gerry tiny puss out of it since of pin head he hit the roof...had 99 temp...got him home temp shot up to 103 but no w it's 102 should I go to Dr...he says he feels like it's a BAD BAD flu...also got a shot of benedryl
