My Brother Got Into A Very Bad Car Accident And

My brother got into a very bad car accident and has damage to the left eye , the eye doctor at the hospitals said he damaged his optic nerve and chances are very low he will have vision , my question is that would there be any type of treatment to be able to cure his damaged nerve or loss of vision
