My Brother Has Dementia, Recently Had Incontenance, Drinking Beer And

My brother has dementia, recently had incontenance, drinking beer and not eating regularly. He had blood work & urine tested today. Was told that his electryolites were off, his sugar is high and there is something wrong with his blood. We're to take him to the hospital tomorrow. What could possibly be wrong?
