My Brother In Law Hung Himself Last Night. His Heart

My brother in law hung himself last night. His heart stopped but was resuscitated by paramedics. We estimated he was without oxygen for maybe 5- 10 minutes. He is in ICU on life support. His heart is beating on its own. His pupils wouldn't dilate or respond to light but he is not brain dead. What are his chances of survival and the chances of not having any mental problems?
