My Brother Was Just Prescribed Plavix And His Dr. Gave

My brother was just prescribed Plavix and his Dr. gave him no information about the medicine. I take warfarin and told him to read about food interactions and call his Dr. to ask questions. Are the same interactions with plavix that there are with warfarin? i do not want him to stroke out. Please advise
