My Brother's Wife Abandoned My Brother After 43 Years. He

My brother's wife abandoned my brother after 43 years. He is a full blown alcoholic. He is 68 years old and starts drinking first thing in the morning. We are going to get him registered at the VA Hospital today. He won't bath and he stinks. He is a Vietnam Veteran and was shot while serving a year over there. Our father killed himself at 36. He also was an alcoholic and served in world war 11 as a tail gunner and radar controller. He is now living with me and I can not take it anymore because they don't care. He gets so drunk he falls and hurts himself all the time. drinks in access of 25 beers or more per day. What do I do?
