My Cardiologist D/c My Losaratan And Gave Me Coreg/3.25mg. In

My cardiologist d/c my losaratan and gave me coreg/3.25mg.
In short order, i.e., within 6 weeks, my BP and HR began to rise to levels I had not experinced in decades. I cont'd to take coreg in hopes would eventually work. After 10 weeks, it didn't and I ended up in the ER with uncontrolled HB.
My cardiologist was unavailable for consult.

On my own, I gradually d/c the coreg and began taking losartan again. Over the course of 1-2 weeks, my BP returned to VG normal, e.g., consistently at, and often under 135/75. However, my pulse rate has remained consistently high to very high, e.g., usually around 110 to 120.

The beta blocker seem to make and keep my BP high. What can I do to reduce my heart rate.

FYI: An echocadiogram in mid Nov was normal.
