My Cardiologist Ordered A Nuclear Stress Test For Me And

My cardiologist ordered a nuclear stress test for me and said it was abnormal. He said I have a medium size area that is not getting any blood flow to it. What does this mean? Is part of my heart damaged now? How much area of my heart does a medium size area of no blood flow take up? Thank you for your help!!
