My Cat Had Some Small Sand Like Stones In His

My cat had some small sand like stones in his urinary tract and my doctor has prescribed using 100ml of water with 5ml citralka syrup for one day, for my cat. I'm going out of town for five days. So would it be harmful if the syrup is not given for five days??
