My Cat Is About 7 Years Old, Recently Diagnosed As

My cat is about 7 years old, recently diagnosed as anemic and has a bone tumor in his jaw. Now he is losing his fur in clumps, sometimes pulling it out with his teeth. I'm finding clumps of his fur all ovr the house. Could this be related to anemia or the tumor? He's been to a specialist or the tumor, but was advised to wait and see how he does before putting him through extensive biopsy and surgery procedures.
