My Cat Was Just Diagnosed With Megacolon, And The Vet

My cat was just diagnosed with megacolon, and the vet was going to give him an enema, but the blood work showed elevated liver enzymes, so she did not want to anestise him.

My question is could the enzymes be elevated due to dehydration plus the miralax that I have been giving him? And if so, would emptying the colon so he can eat and drink normally again, probably resolve the liver issue?
