My Collar Bone Protrudes In The Centre Near My Top

My collar bone protrudes in the centre near my top rib. It is painful & makes a crunching sound of bone against bone especially when I press on it or my arm has been raised & moved backwards. The pain can radiate up the side of my neck & head and can ache right through to my back. What causes this & what can be done to cure it please.
