My Cousin , Age 62, Overweight And Depressed Showed Me

My cousin , age 62, overweight and depressed showed me her swollen, red, warm big toe. I believe it may be gout and insisted she see a dr asap. I did medical underwriting for 20 and believe this is what she had. I read a few articles on google and I did see other diagnosis' Cousin was not feverish , no chills, and is sleeping good. What else could this be?
