My Dad Had Lung Cancer About 10 Years Ago And

My dad had lung cancer about 10 years ago and got half of one of his lungs removed. He was told at his last doctors appointment about 2 weeks ago that they found something on his scan and it didn’t look good. Hes avoiding making an appointment with his oncologist out of fear but he’s started coughing up blood. Could his cancer be back or could it be something else?
