My Dad Is 95 Yrs. Marine 1945 Yes Gut Shot

My dad is 95 yrs. Marine 1945 yes gut shot a lot of intestine removed at that time. V.A. said 4 yrs ago he had cancer. (colon) That same tam said he had a stroke. irrevocable stroke quit as sharp as he ever was He has been home for 3 1/2 yrs. we know it might be getting there but we are here fore him. I have been around for 66yrs. with him 4 days between bowl movements was the norm. he is bed ridden know since he got home. We have tried MD. laxatives worked but not now. I'm not sure which colon upper or lower. ???? Can Dulcolax suppositories help or what.
