My Dad Who Is 88 Years Old Got Up Friday

My dad who is 88 years old got up Friday morning with his left hand swollen. He has dementia, so when I asked if he fell, he didn't remember. The swelling is from his wrist to almost the end of his fingers. On the palm it is swollen around the thumb. He said it was painful. Today it is still swollen and very red and warmer than his other hand.
