My Dad Won't Talk To Me Or My Mom And

My dad won't talk to me or my mom and is sleeping on the couch and watching tv all the time, I didn't know if he is depressed or what. He has done this twice before, and he refuses to go to a doctor even when he is sick. I would ask him but he scares me, he looks angry all the time. What's wrong with him?
