My Dandruff Is Terrible And My Scalp Is Red And

My dandruff is terrible and my scalp is red and inflamed. I've been using Head & Shoulders but it doesn't get better. My wife says its inflamed because I've been scratching it but i think I've been scratching because its inflamed. Any suggestions?
