My Daughter, 16, Has A Rash On The Back Of

My daughter, 16, has a rash on the back of both hands. It stings and is itchy. The tops of her feet are red and also sting, which says happened to her hands just before the rash broke out. She has extremely sensitive skin and gets rashes often, but we were in the Dominican Republic Dec 27-Jan1 and we are worried that she contracted something from mosquito bites. She has no other symptoms that would indicate Dhenghe fever, but is there anything else that she might have contracted there? Or should I just chalk this up to my rashy kid and winter?
