My Daughter 19 Years Old Has IGa Nephropathy And Was

My daughter 19 years old has IGa nephropathy and was on steroids for 4 months , the damage that the steroids did to her body ( deep purple stretch marks all over) not to mention the terrible side effects while on them, night sweats, depression, terrible acne, feelings of suicide , burning hands and feet, etc etc etc ...... all of this and no improvement to her kidneys. Now the doctor wants her to go on acthar... my daughter asks what makes them think that this medication will work?
